Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is an active and viable part of our community. It is future orientated and willing to grow and expand to meet the needs of the community as well as its membership. Our congregation cultivates an atmosphere of openness and acceptance of all people. We like to meet people where they are at in their lives and help them to grow.
Making time in a busy life for prayer, study, worship, service and friendship fills our lives with the presence of God. The same approach to a balanced life teaches us to share our gifts and guides our work. Whether you worship with us, attend a class or program, share your talents with the parish from time to time, work on an occasional or regular basis, take on a leadership role or balance many avenues of involvement at once. You are valued in the life of the parish.
Our congregation provides meaningful worship and Christian education, encouraging members to apply Biblical truths to everyday living. We want our faith to be active in love in our daily lives. We continue a strong ministry of outreach to the community and our motto, "The Church That Cares!" helps us to provide an open and friendly attitude of acceptance and a willingness to minister to all people.
We provide a person centered ministry. Every member of our congregation is important and a vital link in our diverse ministry. If each one of us is found faithful, our total ministry will move on from one success to another. We have been blessed to be a blessing to others.
