Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is an active and viable part of our growing community. It is future orientated and willing to grow and expand to meet the needs of the community as well as its membership. Our church is faithful in its ministry of Word and Sacrament. In our preaching and in our teaching we always attempt to bridge the distance between Biblical truths and everyday living. We want our faith to be active in love in our daily lives.

Our congregation is a worshipping community providing a loving, open atmosphere conducive for worship. Shepherd of the Hills will provide community outreach in its faithfulness to the great command of Christ to go and teach, baptize and make disciples of all nations. We are a “church that cares” with an open friendly attitude of acceptance and a willingness to minister to all people. We are sensitive to and respond to the needs of the local community, attempting to encourage our members to live a daily Christian life by example.

We provide a person centered ministry. Every member of our congregation is important and a vital link in our diverse ministry. If each one of us is found faithful, our total ministry will move on from one success to another. We have been blessed to be a blessing to others.
