ADULT MINISTRIES
Opportunities for Study
Bible studies and other classes are available on Sunday and throughout the week, offered at various times during the year. Studies which are currently in session include the following:
Tuesday, August 19, 1:00 p.m. The Lutheran is a class led by Pastor Charles Miller which meets the third Tuesday of the month to review selected articles published in The Lutheran magazine. In August they will discuss the article "Emerging Churches," from the June issue. The class runs from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. (There will not be a class in October.)
Sunday, 9:15 a.m. - will resume in September.
Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. Youth Room - A women's Bible Study will resume on Sept. 10, beginning with a three week, video-based program called, "Jesus, The Complete Story." Each session will last about an hour and is led by Judi Salkas.
Saturday (1st of the month), 7:30 a.m., Fellowship Hall - Fred Eichberger is presenting a study of the Psalms for this breakfast and Bible study each month.
Wednesday Evening Adult Education - begins October 8 when a variety of classes will be offered to enhance and enrich the spiritual lives of our congregation and the community. The following classes will be offered. Call the church to register.

"Adult Inquirers" - This class will be led by Pastor Schneider and gives an overview of the history of the Lutheran Church. New members may want to attend along with long-time members wanting a refresher.

"A Novel Approach to Law & Gospel" - Fred Eichberger will lead this study of two contemporary secular novels to gain an understanding of law and gospel.

"Boundaries" - This study offers biblically based answers to tough questions and will be led by Connie Eichberger and Christa Markgraff. It will help you learn how to set healthy boundaries with parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even yourself.
