WELCA
Women of the ELCA
Mission: To mobilize women to act boldly
on their faith in Jesus Christ.
All women at Shepherd of the Hills are members of WELCA and are invited to participate in all WELCA activities. We sponsor small groups, Bible studies and circles. WELCA is a community of women committed to growing spiritually, to praying, to studying the Bible, and maturing in faith.
Special events are planned throughout the year including the following: Preparing our Hearts for Lent, Bold Women’s Day, Women’s World Day of Prayer, 20th anniversary celebration, Mother/Daughter/Sister/Friend Tea, Picnic, Advent by Candlelight Dinner. For information on WELCA, contact one of the 2007-2008 board members through the church office.
