Care Ministry

Our Care Ministry

The Care Committee is a group of people who join together to help our fellow members who are experiencing a difficult time or crisis. We are here to strengthen the bonds of fellowship within our Church family.

Someone who may benefit from the care ministry may be someone who is ill, recently released from the hospital for illness, injury or birth, suffered a loss of a loved one, has a vehicle temporarily disabled and needs a ride or any other short term curve ball life can throw our way.

The focus of the care ministry is to be sure that our members know they are loved and provide tangible support to our fellow members during a difficult time by coordinating meals, assisting with transportation, running an errand, or helping with housework.

If you find yourself in a situation in which you could benefit from the love and assistance offered by the Care Committee, please call the church office at 815-385-4030. All inquires and information is kept confidential within the Care Committee.

Remember the Shepherd of the Hills motto, "A Church That Cares"

If you are interested in assisting the Care Committee by providing meals, transportation, running errands, doing house work or in any other way, please notify the church office.
