L.E.R.T.

(Left: Our LERT training session in Fellowship Hall in March 2019)

L.E.R.T. is a team of local volunteers trained at various levels and credentialed through FEMA to assist when disaster strikes.

Disaster can hit anywhere, anytime....
Shepherd of the Hills is proud to be home to a Lutheran Early Response Team.

Should a disaster happen, our team would be put on call and may be asked to assist.

Each volunteer is specially training to offer:

  • Ministry Opportunities
  • Clean Up & Debris Removal
  • Chainsaw Crews
  • Trap & Patch
  • Muck Out
  • Flood & Storm Surge
  • Disaster Work
  • Salvage & Restoration
  • Emotional Support and more
