Our Purpose

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

 

If you are member of Shepherd of the Hills you are already a member of WELCA!  Each year we host a number of events that offer opportunities for women to grow in faith and learn about God’s grace, all while providing lots of fellowship and laughter.  Preparing our Hearts for Lent, the Spring Tea and the Advent Dinner are some of the highlights of the year.  Bible studies and other activities benefiting the community around us are also available.  Bring a friend and come join us!
